Moët et Chandon is the largest Champagne house in the world, producing 28 Million bottles of Champagne annually.  It was established in 1743 by Claude Möet, and quickly favorited by Napoleon Bonaparte and the Marquise de Pompadour, the  mistress of King Louis XV of France, who declared, “Champagne is the only wine in the world that makes every woman beautiful.”
