English Advertising Pottery

At the turn-of-the-century, circa 1900 these fabulous pieces of history were a one-time use.  After the contents were emptied, the pot was discarded into the tips (trash dumps) of London. Because these pots are made of “Ironstone” they do not burn.

 

Enthusiasts and excavators have been unearthing and reviving them for the last 70 years. These come directly from the U.K after excavating and are “as found”.
