Octagon shaped light green colored glass inkwell. This has a burst top neck.  These look amazing grouped together and used a bud vases! Such a unique gift as well.  Circa late 1800s - early 1900s. 

  • Antique Bubbled & Wavy Glass
  • Measures 3" tall x 2" wide 

Antique burst/shear top ink wells were made this way and haven't been broken. The shear top is formed in the manufacturing process when it is broken away from the glass blowers blow pipe.

The Inkwells are from England and were used during the Victorian Era. They are also know as Penny Inks. They have been excavated and have developed a unique patina from being buried under the dirt for decades.

Please remember all items are sold as is and as found. They are used, vintage, antique, and therefore are not in perfect condition. For more questions on conditions see FAQ.

Condition of Items Listed

  • An antique is a collectible item at least 100 years old. 
  • A vintage item is a collectible that is 20 years or older.

Because of the Antique, Vintage and unique nature of my items, they will have imperfections and characteristics that are appropriate with age and that of a handmade piece. They are sold As-Is and As-Found.

  • New is a brand new item that is unused. 
  • Handmade is an item that has been made by myself or another craftsperson.

If you have damage to your order, you must file a claim directly with the Shipper. All packages have insurance. Retain all packing material and take plenty of pictures.

Shipping Details

Orders will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business days once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained.

Orders placed on Sundays will process the following business day. 

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when your order has shipped. 

Should there be a delay in shipping your order, I will contact you with details.
